Speedrunning AI helps workplace users and practical builders understand what changed, find relevant tools, and try a short guide. The dashboard and history use dated public sources. Leadership signals are a separate editorial collection, with interviews, predictions, policy proposals and product claims clearly labeled.

How history and trends work
Sources are deduplicated by URL and stored in a local SQLite evidence database. We preserve publication date, first collection time and import provenance, with immutable collection records and database backups. The website receives JSON and CSV exports. Topic and tool charts count matching source titles, not users or installations.
The September 1–October 26 backfill is partial. Public feed retention, unavailable publication metadata and rate limits leave gaps. A blank day means no collected evidence, not that nothing happened. Uneven collection makes changes in coverage unsuitable as a direct measure of market growth. Open History to inspect dates, sources and collection details or download the archive.
What counts as an opinion
A source title establishes coverage only. Published comparison quotes need a reviewed transcript excerpt, a date and a source link. Historical excerpts remain labeled historical; a small selected sample is not current consensus. Official release announcements appear separately from a leader’s prediction or product claim.
Personal progress and metrics
Saved guides, followed topics and read status stay in your browser. Guides and lessons are open, and practice questions are optional. There is no required workflow check. Visitor analytics and independent tool-user counts are not connected, so we do not display estimated numbers as measured facts.
Who this is for
AI-literate corporate operators and people building AI startups or agencies. We focus on changing capabilities, practical implementation, industry direction and deployment risk. Foundational lessons remain available as reference material; they are not the main product.
Our editorial boundary
Signals covers lab leaders, founders, C-suite executives and AI investors. The separate builder directory tracks practitioner coverage. Commercial interests and source limitations stay visible. We distinguish what a source establishes, what a speaker claims and what we infer.
The weekly briefing is a selected editorial edition with dated evidence, uncertainties and structured downloads for a personal AI agent. The initial edition is AI-assisted editorial synthesis, not a first-person opinion attributed to the founder. Risk checks are decision aids; they do not scan systems or estimate a probability of catastrophe. Newsletter delivery is not connected.
